Walder Foundation Products

Walder Foundation Products is a distributor of foundation repair and helical pile products based in Ashland, Virginia, near Richmond. Its site says it supplies licensed contractors in Virginia with Chance helical piles and piers, lighting foundations, helical tieback anchors and pull-down and micropiles.

The company also sells crawl space and basement repair products and Hydraway waterproofing systems. It says it has helped more than 7,000 homeowners and contractors and has supplied engineers with helical piles and tiebacks for design projects. Walder recently opened WalderCrawlSpace.com. Because it is a distributor, it sells to contractors rather than installing piles for homeowners.

Contractors and engineers can contact Walder through its site or by phone. Homeowners should ask their installer whether they source Chance products, and ask for the pile size, depth and torque records. Ask the distributor what technical support and design resources are available for specifiers.
