Ram Jack Colorado underpins a settling Centennial store with 32 helical piers

Ram Jack Colorado stabilized the north end of a Centennial, Colorado liquor store that had dropped as much as 3.5 inches over soft, moist fill sitting on sandstone. Crews installed 32 Ram Jack helical piers with 2-7/8-inch shafts and 10-inch helices to about 24 to 31 feet, reached a 7,000 lb-ft torque target, lifted the structure, foam-filled the voids under the slab and replaced roughly 1,343 square feet of sidewalk. The phased job let the store stay open for the whole project.
