TorcSill Foundations designs, manufactures and installs engineered helical pile and anchor foundations, mainly for energy, power, industrial, marine and renewable projects. Its global headquarters and manufacturing plant are in Pasadena, Texas. A 2019 announcement gave its founding year as 2011 and reported that White Deer Energy acquired the company from Intervale Capital. Tim Swift is CEO.
The company provides engineering and design, manufacturing, construction and drilling services. The TorcSill website lists construction operations in Texas (Houston, East Texas, South Texas, West Texas), Appalachia (Clarksburg, WV), Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Dakota and Wyoming. The company says its manufacturing is ISO 9001:2015 certified and that it is licensed in 23 states.
Industries served include upstream and midstream oil and gas, refining and petrochemical plants, power generation, transmission, distribution and battery storage, marine and renewable energy. TorcSill says its steel pile foundations remove the need for concrete, produce no spoils or vibration during installation and can be loaded immediately. Its AnchorPipe line draws on what the company describes as more than 40 years of offshore and onshore pipeline anchoring experience. All piles are made from new steel stock, according to the company.
