About Techno Metal Post
Techno Metal Post, known in Quebec and French-speaking markets as Techno Pieux, was founded in 1993. Its head office is in Thetford Mines, Quebec. The company launched an in-house engineering department in 1998 and built a new factory in 2022.
The company manufactures steel helical piers along with the hydraulic machinery its dealers use to install them. Pier sizing is set by the company's engineering team for each project. According to the Techno Metal Post website, it has more than 185 dealerships in North America and Europe and has completed over 500,000 projects. The company offers a 25-year limited warranty.
Its piers are used for residential, commercial and industrial foundations, including decks, additions, buildings and infrastructure. The company runs separate websites for Canada, the United States and several European markets. Each dealer installs piers with Techno Metal Post equipment that records installation torque.
