About MacLean Civil Products
MacLean Civil Products is the civil division of MacLean Power Systems, which also operates utility and communications divisions. The company says it formed from the merger of two soil anchor manufacturers and has supplied steel deep foundation systems since 2005. MacLean Power Systems, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, was formerly part of the MacLean-Fogg portfolio.
Its products include helical anchors and piles sold under the MacLean-Dixie name, Manta Ray driven anchors, Excalibur high-capacity piles and related installation equipment, used for tension, compression and structural stabilization. The company lists manufacturing in the United States, Brazil and Thailand, and sells through distributors listed on the MacLean Civil Products website. It also offers RTD (Real Time Design) software for modeling helical piles and anchors.
The MacLean-Dixie helical foundation systems are made at the MacLean Power TN, LLC facility in Trenton, Tennessee under a quality-control program inspected by ICC-ES. Pile types covered by its evaluation include the D6 and D10 round-cornered square bar and the P28 and P35 round shaft (pipe) series, evaluated under the ICC-ES AC358 acceptance criteria for helical systems.
