About IDEAL Foundation Systems

IDEAL Foundation Systems is the deep foundation brand of IDEAL Group (report holder name IDEAL Manufacturing, Inc.), with a corporate office in East Rochester, New York and a manufacturing plant in Webster, New York. The family-run business has roots in C.S. Stroyer and Sons, a construction company started in 1956. In the early 1990s the Stroyer family moved into waterproofing and residential foundation repair, and in 2003 it began fabricating its own helical piles.

According to the official site, IDEAL helical piles range from 1.5 inch square shaft to 24 inch round shaft and are rated for loads up to 200 tons. The company also developed the patented STELCOR Drilled-In Displacement Micropile. IDEAL sells through regional distribution partners, including Danbro Distributors in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and recruits installation contractors, but does not publish a public installer locator.

Typical applications include new construction foundations, underpinning of existing structures, boardwalks and tiebacks. The company says it offers technical support from design through installation, and its product documentation page provides specifications and design guides for engineers. Project inquiries go to IDEAL directly or to a regional distributor.
