About Heli-Pile

HELI-PILE is a helical pile manufacturer based at 5135 Ward Road in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, in the Denver area. It began as a division of International Marketing and Research, Inc. (IMR), founded by Bob Jones. The company says it entered helical pile work full time in 1986, that IMR had become a large helical pile distributor by the late 1990s, and that it began manufacturing in 2003.

According to the HELI-PILE website, the company manufactures only helical piles and associated hardware. It offers engineering consultation, custom fabrication, and installer certification and training in Denver or on site. Markets named on the site include oil and gas, industrial facilities, residential and commercial construction, and boardwalks and public works.

The product range covers square solid bar, square tubular and modular helical piles, each paired with its own set of terminations and brackets for new construction, underpinning, pipe support and tension anchoring. The company also publishes a simplified design and inspection guide for helical piles and helical tension anchors written by John S. Pack, P.E.
