About GoliathTech

GoliathTech traces its origins to 2004, when David Bissonnette founded the original screw pile business in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Julian Reusing acquired the company in 2013, renamed it GoliathTech Inc. and became CEO, investing in a manufacturing facility and research and development. The head office and main plant are in Magog, Quebec, and the facility was expanded in 2021.

GoliathTech designs and manufactures galvanized steel helical piles and sells them through a franchise system of certified installers. According to the GoliathTech website, the network includes about 150 certified installers, with locations across Canadian provinces, many U.S. states and several European countries. The company began selling in Europe in 2019.

In January 2026 the company announced it would open a manufacturing facility in Ohio to supply the U.S. market, while keeping Canadian production for international distribution. The company says its screw piles carry a lifetime warranty. The piles use galvanized steel, which the company describes as double protection against corrosion and freeze-thaw cycles, and are used for decks, additions, homes, commercial buildings and other structures.
